Why are we so quiet this week?

At midnight on 15 December WST, we launch our new look website, new name and Job Board. This week, the team has been meeting with employers like Woodside, Santos, Clough, CiticPacific Mining, BHP Billiton, HWE, Monadelphous, United Group Resources and Leighton’s – all of whom will feature jobs and blogs on the site at the time of launch. This means we haven't been able to blog this week.

Our unique integrated Job and Blog format will mean you can explore extensive and current information and news for organisations of interest. At time of launch, you will be automatically re-directed to our new site and will not need to re-register if you are already a subscriber. However, with a range of new features enabling you to create Job and Blog alerts, plus save an unlimited number of resumes within your profile, you may wish to update your details. Jobs will be live and ready for application.

Representatives from major industry employers will attend our special launch event in Perth on Tuesday 15 December.

In addition, APPEA’s Director of Skills and Safety, Miranda Taylor has announced APPEA’s support of the site; “I am so excited about the new website. I believe this new interactive job portal and resource industry website is a timely, brilliant and a much needed initiative. The website provides job seekers and employers with a unique and easy-to-access forum to connect. It is an initiative of a number of highly experienced resource industry professionals, and it is that industry experience that makes the site credible, informative and accurate".
