Your Invitation to complete the 2012 Australian Mining Employee Survey
Got a spare 15 minutes? You could grab a coffee, send an email or you could enter the draw to win one of five $1,000 Flight Centre travel vouchers.
Not only that, but you have the opportunity to tell the mining industry what it needs to hear. With more than 100,000 new entrants required across the mining sector in the next decade, mining companies need to know now, more than ever, how to attract talented candidates – this includes those already working in the industry and those seeking to make a start. They need to know what those in the job market think about certain rosters, travel arrangements, projects and more importantly, what you think of them as a potential employer.
With The Resource Channel’s launch of the Australian Mining Employee Survey 2012, you have the opportunity to provide invaluable and confidential feedback to assist mining companies to plan for growth.
The Australian Mining Employee Survey 2012 will seek to gather information on rosters, locations, travel arrangements, employers and projects that are most and least appealing. This information will be collected according to region.
This is an opportunity for existing and potential mining employees to be heard, to not only communicate preferences but what barriers they experience in taking up certain opportunities. We are most interested to hear from mining employees working in regional or more remote areas.
A high level summary will be communicated to industry employers and survey respondents, as well as published on The Resource Channel.
All responses are confidential. Respondents to the survey will go into a draw to win one of five $1,000 travel vouchers with Flight Centre. The survey is open from Saturday 28 April to Sunday 27 May inclusive and is available for completion from The Resource Channel website home page banner (www.theresourcechannel.com.au).
