Work Contracts for CiticPacific’s Sino Iron Ore Project

CiticPacific Mining’s Sino Iron project involves construction of significant infrastructure including a magnetite concentrator, pellet plant, port facilities, a power station, a desalination plant and an accommodation village. Much of this infrastructure will potentially be available for third party use.

As the project progresses, a number of contracts and Letters of Intent are being signed. All construction contracts are subject to a number of conditions including the project receiving the relevant approvals. The following is a list of their key industry partners to give you an indication of where the jobs will be:

Altus Shipping and Logistics Pty Ltd; Trans-shipment services.

Austrian Energy & Environment (Australia) Pty Ltd; design and construction of the power station.
Capital Group of Companies; construction of accommodation camp.

Central Mining & Contracting Pty Ltd; indigenous training, preliminary mine development, mining-related services (CMC is a locally owned and operated mining and civil contractor based in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. China Metallurgical Group Corp. (MCC); Head Construction Contract: Process plant (crushing, pellet plant, concentrator) and infrastructure. It is not known at this point how MCC intend to recruit for what will be the bulk of the construction workforce but we hope to have further detail on this shortly.

Modern Services; scaffolding services (part of the Ausclad Group of Companies)

ThyssenKrupp Australia Ltd; semi-mobile primary crushing units.

CITIC Heavy Machinery Company Ltd; design and manufacture of autogenous grinding mills.

IDE Technologies Ltd; technical design, engineering and procurement for desalination plant.

John Holland Pty Ltd & Leighton International Australia Pty Ltd; marine works construction.

LeTourneau Technologies, Inc; supply of front end loading equipment.

Siemens Australia Ltd; industrial gas turbines.

Terex Mining Australia Pty Ltd; supply of heavy mining equipment.
