The heavy offshore construction vessel, Toisa Proteus, is completing work in the Middle East and will begin the journey back to Australia from this week (via initial equipment works in Singapore) to commence a scope of work for BHP Billiton's Pyrenees project. The contracted work fills what would have been a lay-down period for the vessel, which is then contracted to commence construction work for Woodside's Pluto project later in the year.
Brunel Technical Services in Perth will man the vessel and will be seeking Riggers, Mechanics and Electricians. The contracted period of work is expected to be up until November this year, with the potential for those working on the vessel to score ongoing work with the Pluto project.
