  • Status: EPA approval received. WorleyParsons was appointed as the Project Management Study Contractor in 2009. They will conduct the budget and engineering study for the Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS), including management of design and engineering. Following successful completion of the BFS, OPR anticipates financial close with commencement of construction in late 2010 – 2011. Project planning is at an advanced stage, including major engineering studies and environmental impact assessments. Backed by the certainty of the landmark State Development Agreement, OPR will now invest $100 million over the next 12 months in further studies and detailed planning as part of the project’s Bankable Feasibility Study. OPR is also currently focused on finalising its supply chain agreements.
