HWE Support Shotfirers Licence upgrade
From 1 November 2011, new legislation comes into effect regarding the licensing of all shotfirers in Western Australia. Whilst the proposed changes are not yet finalised, HWE Mining will be committed to supporting any permit upgrade requirements of our affected employees.
We are ahead of the game here compared to other companies, so this should be a real benefit to our employees.
We currently have a number of positions for Shotfirers at Orebody, Area C and Yandi, if you are interested in applying for a role, you can be assured that we will support your permit upgrade requirements, in line with the proposed legislation.
We are looking for experienced Shotfirers who have a current restricted or unrestricted ticket, have worked shift work and ideally worked on a FIFO roster. We will consider candidates for FIFO from Perth or Geelong.
