HWE Mining's Maintenance Services continues to hit the benchmarks

HWE Maintenance Services (HWE MS) – a division of HWE Mining – is continuing to lead the way in the competitive industry of mining equipment maintenance, mineral/ quarry plant, structural steel, vessels and design in Australia.

In 2007, HWE MS became the first Western Australian company and only the fourth Australian company to be awarded the elite international welding certification – the ISO 3834 – and has continued to uphold these benchmarks, recently receiving its recertification to the standard.

The ISO 3834 certification focuses on a company’s welding activities and sets rigorous standards for welding and fabricating capabilities. Companies who have the certification must undergo periodic welding quality management and fabrication capability assessments to maintain their certification.
HWE MS has, once again, met these requirements and has been duly recognised for its efforts.

The certification covers all HWE MS activities that are involved in the control of welding operations concerning mining mechanical handling equipment and related items. Ian Massara, HWE MS Business Development and Sustainability Manager said, “HWE MS is privileged to have been awarded this certification.
