Perth’s Challenger Institute of Technology is now offering a unique opportunity for women to begin a rewarding career in civil and structural engineering.
The entry-level Certificate III course will focus on sustainable living and construction practices, and will provide a valuable foundation skills for gaining employment in construction industries associated with Western Australia’s expanding resources sector, or a pathway to higher level engineering qualifications. With the support of major industry corporations BHP Billiton, Chevron and Woodside, Challenger assures course participants of a professional training experience.
There is also an opportunity for selected applicants to apply for industry-sponsored scholarships.
The course begins on Monday 2 August 2010 and runs for 18 weeks from Monday to Wednesday each week at the Fremantle Campus, 15 Grosvenor Street, Beaconsfield.
