Gorgon Village Development

The Gorgon Gas participants are developing the Greater Gorgon fields located between 130km and 200km off the North West coast of Western Australia and world class LNG production facilities on Barrow Island.

Thiess Decmil Kentz Joint Venture has been awarded the contract to design and construct a 3,300 person village, which will be home to the construction workforce required for the Chevron operated facility to be built on Barrow Island.

This joint venture brings together both Australian and international expertise and aims to deliver an accommodation village to ‘second to none’ standards.
 

This large and exciting project requires committed and experienced people to be part of our joint venture team, delivering our objective in a safe and timely manner.

A significant number of site-based employment opportunities (on a FIFO roster) have been generated by this project with recrutiment already underway.
