Brierity Limited has been awarded the contract to construct the rail formation for six sidings on Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine.
Work is scheduled to commence next month and be completed by the end of the year. Valued at $39 million, the construction of rail formation includes bulk earthworks and drill and blast operations.
The contract win is expected to generate jobs in civil and earthworks construction and drill and blast.
