FEEDing success offshore

With the front end engineering design (FEED) phase of the offshore component of the Ichthys Project out of the way, our offshore team is surging ahead in 2012.

They have completed the designs for a subsea production system (SPS), umbilicals, risers and flowlines (URF), gas export pipeline (GEP) and the central processing facility (CPF). Design work on a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel will also be completed in the next few weeks.

The team is overjoyed at their achievement – the result of their strong commitment and the support of all other divisions.

The Offshore Division is also well placed for achieving its vision for HSE success. They are clear on what HSE success looks like and are driving a zero incidents culture. The division has the people, plans and process to create a HSE centre of excellence. At INPEX, we believe HSE success is created by the actions of everyone. That’s why we offer truly committed leadership at all levels and a strong contribution from the entire offshore team is critical here.

From Perth and London to Singapore, Leiden, Kuala Lumpur, Aberdeen, Oslo, Bilbao, Houston, Korea – the team is ready for mobilisation to contractors’ sites and to start project execution. We don’t believe in putting an “s” at the end of team. That is the key to our success, one team, with common objectives: Safety number one, first gas in 2016 and 40+ years production.

For our offshore team, 2012 holds new challenges, much excitement, zero incidents and delivery on time and within the budget. There’s a real buzz about INPEX this year.
