Emeco – expanding their numbers

Established in 1972, Emeco is an independent supplier of heavy earthmoving equipment for mining and construction industries around the world.

Their global fleet of around 2,000 machines is provided to a range of blue-chip mining companies and contractors to small independents. The fleet includes trucks, dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, wheel loaders, compactors, scrapers, water carts and articulated trucks.

Publicly listed in 2006, they operate in five countries – Canada, Australia, Indonesia, USA and The Netherlands – servicing earthmoving projects through the supply of heavy earthmoving equipment – and often in dense, challenging and remote areas.

Predominantly servicing the construction and mining sectors (and mainly in coal, gold and iron ore), Emeco now have a number of vacancies for the Eastern Goldfields area. The positions are roster based:

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
You will have:
• Previous mine site maintenance supervision experience;
• Team building and time management capabilities;
• Commitment to zero harm.

HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS AND SERVICE PEOPLE
These roles are responsible for maintaining and repairing Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.

Ideal candidates will have:
• Relevant Trade qualifications and post trade experience;
• Possession of HR Drivers licence;
• Caterpillar and Komatsu mining product maintenance experience would be a distinct advantage.
