CITIC Pacific Mining Latest - Exclusive!

Those of you who read our last blog would know that much work has been done in and around our operation, and since our last post I am pleased to say we have made even more progress. Many exciting developments have happened at our Sino Iron Project in the past month and we have reached a number of significant milestones for our project.

Work continues to progress well at our Concentrator and as an exclusive to The Resource Channel I can proudly announce that the first of our four primary in-pit crushers has been successfully tested. An individual dry run of the first of our crushers took place in July and was a key milestone and a huge step forward.

In other exciting developments, the second of our seven gas turbines in our 450MW Power Station has been fired and also our Desalination Plant has started to see sea water flowing through its pumps which is fantastic news for our proud team based at the Desalination Plant.  They will now start to focus on the automation and control side of things ready for full operation.

Many of you may have seen our recent announcement of a revised scheduled for first production in  the first half of 2012, This means that we are still looking for people to join this ground breaking project.
