BHP Nickel West contract awarded to Cape Crushing and Earthmoving
Cape Crushing and Earthmoving, a subsidiary of VDM Group has been awarded a $40 million contract for work at BHP Billiton Nickel West’s Kambalda nickel mine in Western Australia.
The contract for work on the mine’s nickel concentrator is in addition to Cape’s current ore haulage and services contract with BHP Nickel West.
Cape’s other clients include BHP Billiton Iron Ore (Area C and Jimblebar), St Barbara, Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines, Placer Dome Asia Pacific, Barrick and Newcrest. Impressively, the company has recently celebrated 15 years lost time injury free.
Cape recruits for Dozer, Front End Loader, Excavator, Dump Truck, Road Truck, Grader and Skid Steer Loader operators.
