Austrian Energy and Environment – Eraring Power Station Project

In late August, AE&E was awarded the installation of a dry ash handling system at Eraring Power Station, which is owned by Eraring Energy, a state-owned corporation that manages a diverse set of electricity-generating assets located throughout New South Wales. The Eraring Power Station, at 2,640MW is Australia’s equal largest.

The system to be installed involves new technology that significant reduces the maintenance involved with traditional wet ash handing systems whilst enhancing the environment. The dry ash handling system has the potential to save water as well as eliminate the leaching of ash components into the local water table.

The Company says this technology has the potential to be deployed in the majority of coal fired power stations in Australia providing ongoing work in this sphere for many years. Whilst the installation will take in the order of three (3) months, AE&E are keen to hear from experienced Fitters, Boilermakers and Riggers for other similar projects.

You can send an enquiries and your resume to careers@aee-australia.com.au.

In addition, AE&E are seeking the following senior roles:

Engineering Manager – Electrical
• Senior Estimator
