Evolution Mining is a growth focused Australian gold company. We own and operate four gold operations in Queensland and Western Australia and are developing a fifth gold operation in Queensland.  Evolution Mining holds a 100% interest in all of its operations. 

Evolution Mining was created in late 2011 to form a mid-tier Australian gold producer through a merger of Catalpa Resources Ltd and Conquest Mining Ltd and the concurrent acquisition of Newcrest Mining’s interests in the Cracow and Mt Rawdon mines.

A statewide survey of almost 2,300 mining and gas company workers has confirmed that they want the option of both residential and non-residential accommodation arrangements.

'Without both options, the survey concludes that Queensland will risk realising all the benefits from what is shaping as the biggest decade of private sector investment in the state's history,' said Queensland Resources Council Chief Executive Michael Roche.

A new model to create regional fly in, fly out hubs will be piloted in the south east of South Australia.

Working in collaboration with the District Council of Grant in the south east region of South Australia, the pilot will be facilitated by leading jobs website for the Australian resource sector, The Resource Channel, which also developed the model. 

The Australian Gas Technology Conference & Exhibition(AGT) has joined forces with leading oil and gas employers, training bodies and universities to address the shortfall of 36,000 workers required to construct and operate the planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects in Australia.

Western Australia’s only gas technology event will play host to tertiary and TAFE students and mature age workers from 25-27 July in an effort to encourage the next generation of workers to pursue a career in the gas industry.
