The first new mining lease for a uranium mining project in WA since the ban was removed in November 2008 has been granted by the Western Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum to Mega Uranium Ltd, a Toronto based mineral resources company with a focus on uranium properties.

Rio Tinto Brockman 4 Jobs

Back in late 2007 when Rio Tinto announced it’s plans to expand on its iron ore export capacity in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, with the approval of the Brockman 4 mine near Tom Price. Phase 1 was planned to take 2 years to construct and commission with ramp up planned to being in early 2010 and full capacity reached in 2012.

LIVE job requirements for Iron Ore Brownfields Construction Project - Port Hedland

United Group Resources has been awarded a $A165 million contract for an Iron Ore brownfields Construction Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

The project involves the fabrication and on site installation of structural steel and mechanical equipment associated with transfer stations, conveyors and shuttles at the Port Hedland operations.

Due to the recent win we are looking for the following:

Austrian Energy and Environment – Eraring Power Station Project

In late August, AE&E was awarded the installation of a dry ash handling system at Eraring Power Station, which is owned by Eraring Energy, a state-owned corporation that manages a diverse set of electricity-generating assets located throughout New South Wales. The Eraring Power Station, at 2,640MW is Australia’s equal largest.
